About the artist

CARCO

Traveler and watercolorist, I therefore studied Mathematics and Physics in French scientific and engineering schools. I also achieved an Architecture degree where I finally discovered plain air sketching. Since then, I occasionally go painting on my days off. The rest of my life is dedicated to directing important building projects as a Project Manager. My experience led me to work in partnership with famous architects.

Modern colors and materials convinced me that figurative art could still have a new chance nowadays. My work is then figurative, maybe due to my logical, scientific formation. Yet I don’t want to be hyper realistic. I prefer trying to get poetic. It deals with light, spreading out of natural white on the paper. I always think of the white I am leaving on the paper before painting. Watercolor is such a beautiful, transparent medium!

Because of light, skies are often the main element. A tough, quick and risky subject to paint!

I hope you’ll Enjoy!

  • Go global without costing the earth

As we try to reach customers all over the world, we use local Print on Demand labs. Our sell-online website automatically routes your orders to the print facilities closest to our customers. Shorter shipping distances mean less environmental impact and cheaper delivery costs.

Our prints are made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why however it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!

  • Green Packaging

Due to the long time it takes for plastics to biodegrade, we avoid using them wherever possible, including in our packaging. The good news is that we’ve already eliminated cling film from our supply chain, and use environmentally friendly plastics for products that require added protection. We also opt for packaging that’s recyclable, compostable or made from recycled content as much as is practicable.
