Refund policy

This shop does not accept returns of unwanted items as our products are customised/bespoke by a Print on Demand platform with no stock and few demand of these articles.

Our Print on Demand Platform is domiciled in the UK.

All European online retail platforms must adhere to the Consumer Contracts Regulations which came into force in the UK on 13 June 2014 (replacing the Distance Selling Regulations).

These regulations outline the various rights consumers have when it comes to cancelling orders which aren’t required. However, there are a number of exemptions to these rules and the types of product we create and sell fall under those items that you are unable to return once received, unless there is a defect with the product.

The circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations won’t give you a right to cancel include perishable items, CDs, DVDs, pharmaceutical products and software if you’ve broken the seal on the wrapping. Exemptions are also made for tailor-made or personalised items. All print on demand products are tailor made, custom-made and bespoke to the end-consumers individual specifications and no order would exist unless a personalised commission was provided.

If items are received damaged/faulty, there are instances where we ask for the order to be returned so the lab can investigate. Otherwise, we can directly process a replacement/refund for that. In this cas, no return will be needed.

To start a return, under the conditions above, you can contact us at info@carco-watercolor.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If you return the product to the wrong adress, our lab will not be able to investigate, and replacement/refund will not be possible. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the lab's adress, which is not the Carco Warercolor adress.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Damages due to shipping should be claimed directly to the carrieer.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
See introduction. Our products do not fit the requirements of cooling off period, due to customised/bespoke manufacturing.

Refunds
We will notify you if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
